Become a Certified Composites Technician

Choose from one of three options:

  1. Enroll in the CCT Program now and be eligible to take the exam in the coming year. You’ll receive a complete study guide for the CCT program you choose so you can begin preparing for the exam immediately!

  2. Enroll in the CCT Program and register for the exam at the same time. Be sure to tell us the location and date of the exam you’d like to take.

  3. Already enrolled in the CCT Program? Use this form to register for the exam of your choice. If you’re not sure if you’re already enrolled, call ACMA at 703-525-0511.
Eligibility

  • You must document a minimum of one-year of experience in the composites industry to take the exam. You may enroll in the program before meeting the experience requirement and take the exam after your one-year anniversary.

  • Students are eligible to become CCT-Associates prior to industry work experience. Student exam candidates must be enrolled in a recognized composites program, and provide proof of enrollment.

  • The prerequisite for candidacy as a CCT Instructor or Certified Composites Manager is a current CCT certification.

  • All candidates are required to complete this form with payment, to the American Composites Manufacturers Association.
Multiple Enrollments

  • If you are enrolling multiple candidates, please submit a separate form for each candidate.

  • Indicate under Section VI if the payment for a candidate is covered on another enrollment form.
