Exam Administration |
Exams, except for the CCM exam, consist of 100 multiple
choice questions and are administered on a scantron sheet. The
CCM exam consists of multiple choice questions and modular
work. Two hours are alloted for the exam. The following rules
are enforced during the exam:

1. |
No books or other reference materials may be taken into
the exam room |
|
2. |
Candidates must have a government issued photo I.D. at
the exam |
|
3. |
No devices that can store alpha-numeric data may be
taken into the exam room |
|
4. |
No signaling devices, including pagers and alarms, may
be operative during the exam |
|
5. |
No test materials, documents, or memoranda of any sort
may be taken from the exam room |
|
6. |
No questions concerning content of the exam may be asked
during the testing period. The candidate should listen
carefully to the instructions given by the examiner and
should carefully read all directions in the test
booklet. |
|
|
|
Personal Information Update |
|
Every
examination candidate must notify ACMA in writing of any
address changes. |
|
Confidentiality |
|
ACMA will release the individual test scores in writing
ONLY to the individual candidate. Any questions concerning
test results should be referred to the ACMA Certification
Department. |
|
Integrity of the exam |
|
To maintain the integrity of the CCT program, ACMA does not
tolerate cheating in any fashion. Cheating is cause for
immediate dismissal from the exam site and/or revocation of
certification status. ACMA reserves the right to permanently
ban those caught cheating from ever becoming CCT
certified. |
|
Cancellation |
|
To cancel your exam, you must notify ACMA within 72 hours
of your test date. Failure to notify AMCA will result in a $20
administrative fee. |
|
Re-Certification |
|
Certified Composites Technicians must re-certify their
credentials on a three-year cycle. The CCT re-certification
program is a self-study course and is designed to reinforce
information in the original certification process. The
articles printed in the re-certification workbook include a
review of selected CCT items. |

Revocation of Certification |
ACMA reserves the right to revoke an individual’s
certifications for any of the following reasons:
|
1. |
Falsification of any information, including data
requested on the enrollment form |
|
2. |
Misrepresentation of certification status, including but
not limited to attempting to use altered or falsified
certification cards or certificates |
|
3. |
Obtaining, or attempting to obtain and/or assist
certification or re-certification by fraud or deception
|
|
4. |
Mishandling of CCT testing materials, including but not
limited to reproduction of exam questions |
|
5. |
Inability to provide payment for CCT enrollment and exam
fees, study materials, and any other expenses that may be
incurred in the certification process |
|
6. |
Violation of examination rules, including but not
limited to cheating on the exam |
|
7. |
Misrepresentation of the CCT program and/or the American
Composites Manufacturers Association |
|
|
Certification Appeals Procedures |
|
Upon notification of CCT ineligibility from ACMA, any
candidate wishing to appeal the decision must initiate the
process in writing within 30 days of the date of notice from
the association. The appeal, addressed to the ACMA CCT
Program, must indicate specific grounds for reconsideration by
the ACMA. |
